Overview

eZines Limited was incorporated in September 2008, under the Companies Act of Jamaica.  The main aim of the company is to develop a series of electronic magazine.  Our first product is Your Money eZine, a business and financial eZine that is sent out to a subscriber base of 25,000 ABC individuals.  In addition to our own eZines, we also plan to offer the service to corporate companies in which we will give them the opportunity of producing what we call Corporate eZines as a part of their marketing communications mix.

Our goal is to formalize the entire idea of electronic media, and develop it into a viable business model.  Through this, it will form a part of the media industry, providing a wealth of information to individuals and also a strong source of advertising for companies.  The Internet Telecommunications Union in the United Kingdom has executed a survey recently which concluded that Jamaica’s internet usage is now at 55%, this is a total of 1.5 million people who are accessing the internet.  What this basically says, is that the internet is just as strong a market as any other media source in Jamaica.

Our target market is internet users, and our customer will be advertisers within corporate Jamaica.  We will strategically target individuals using the internet in Jamaica, and also find various ways to disseminate our eZine to them in a manner that is simple and receptive.
